Why dont people just buy a proper PDA and use their bluetooth phones with them to browse on?! There are sooo many advantages over just a cellphone on its own! Like bigger screens, MUCH FASTER processor, better storage options etc etc. Why put up with (much) less??!

@tariqwahl, I agree with your philosophy completely and I have been using iPAQs since the first 3630 was launched and do now use the hx4700 (my P910 is out the door very soon!)

Yeah, vga pocket is good idea.
HP 4700 is very good but usb host is missing in the pocket.
Personally think, loox, toshiba, asus are better option to buy vga pocket. |

I don't miss a USB host at all. When I have a pocketable device I don't want to be carrying around lots of usb accessories (keyboards etc). I want everything I need to be in that one device and the iPAQs do that for me

Who needs USB on a PDA when the hx4700 has bluetooth, CompactFlash, and SD slot (with support for SDIO products)?! Thats good to know @masseur. Im definitely gonna buy a hx4700 by the end of month.. maybe a hx4750 might be out by then, but not that i thing the hx4700 needs any improvements! :-)

Masseur, i came across them in either my computer mags or on a site that sells them, i dont remember coz i was too busy salivating at the thought of that much space! Hehe! Anyways, if i find it again i'll let u know. ..oh and to the other fella, the iPAQ is just abt £10 more than the new Loox but i feel its a safer bet buying an iPAQ (unless im mistaken) :-)

@masseur. I searched for the 12gb CompactFlash disk for you. Go to www.jactron.co.uk its called Pretec CompactFlash Cheetah. The price isnt quoted on the site masseur but i can just imagine how expensive it is. 12gb on a PDA?! Damn, that is heaven!
