I think I don't need one. Because I don't talk too much on the phone...

I often have my hands full (with children, bags, whatever), so being able to answer the phone without it occupying one of my hands is a big plus. YMMV

I bought one cos one of my jobs was as a driver. Used to have calls from the office and other drivers while out. My phone was in use at all times. Since changing jobs i don't need it as much cos i work indoors.

Got one cause my P900 has bluetooth, don't really use it much except when driving. Don't walk anywhere with it, look like a dork just got off work from fast food drive thru.

The big screen on the Pxxx and the S700 (as well as other phones) tend to get kind of yucky when pressed to an ear (unless it's a very clean ear). A corded headset would of course be sufficient to prevent that, but the cord gets stuck everywhere

Hoped you're talking about the headset.
If it weren't for bad lucks, I would have no lucks at all.

I need one just to have people look at me in a funny way. Out here in the states, stylish BT headseats are not that famous w/ the general public and whenever I'm using one, people will tend to think that I'm talking to myself.. Xtra weird look when I'm laughing.

I use mine when cooking. I also use it in work where I use it in conjunction with my normal headset. It allows me to take external calls inconspiculously. With a woolly hat I can ride my mountain bike and speak comfortably.
