It seriously is one of the best programs out for the k700i! just downloaded it. I have had a usb cable for my phone for ages but when using things like sendfile and the sony ericsson stuff downloading/uploading from phone has been super slow (a 4MB mp3 took 2hours to transfer) so i got bluetooth dongle and that was fine (same MP3 took about 4mins), but i broke it when i dropped my laptop. So back to the cable i search for a file manager to use with a cable then i discovered dateimanager! It takes about 3.30mins to transfer that MP3 now, only when u first use it change to the band rate (file>settings>) to the highest or it might take about 6mins for the mp3. You can transfer files both ways and make folders ect. tells you battery stuff. What more could you want.!

If you want super fast upload/download speed with your file manager for your k700i then visit the site below.

On the link on the above post go to Downloads then dateimanager! its only about 350kb so can download on 56k modem no probs

Welcome to Esato dude !

Thanks for posting the tip it wud be useful for newbies.

However you may want to consider using FMA (Float Mobile Agent). Same as DateiManager but more functionalities and you can also transfer games which you cant do with DateiManager.

Get it here -

http://fma.sourceforge.net/index2.htm
If at first you don't succeed, destroy all evidence of your attempt !!

The best way is to have both apps. Dateimanager is easier to transfer multiple files and for creating folders in the phone. It also allows you to turn on the minute minder ;-)

Thanks a lot have had that FMA before when I had a T610. Seemed a very comprehensive program with all its features. It was very good, totally forgot about that thou. Will download again now. Cheers!

I did notice that when i transfered an MP3 before with Dateimanager i put it in themes by mistake but i moved it too the sounds folder on my phone, on the phone by pressing 'more' then 'move to folder' so if the transfer rate are slow on FMA (havent tried yet) then maybe you could do this with games on dateimanager. Let me know if it works
