Call me a newbie but i've been at this for hours now and i've had a bad day at work and i'm gonna lose it if i don't sort this out!!!

I have a K700i, latest firmware, and i bought a Class 2 Bluetooth USB Dongle with Widcomm software from LM Technologies on Amazon.

I installed the software that came with the phone but had some install shield errors i have never had and eventually had to download the files from the net. Most of these seem to be up and running, the last of which to work is the File Manager, although that has yet to manifest as a visible program... so i don't know.

I installed the Dongle software, it recognised and after a lot of messing and probably messing up, trying to uninstall and reinstall.. finding a lot of the SE software in particular COmmunication Suite wouldn't uninstall for some reason... now i have COM21 and COM 29 in as outgoing ports on serial port and serial port 2 and finally COM30 and 31 as incoming...

i can send files from my phone and i can sync my outlook from my pc....

but I CAN'T transfer TO my phone, the phone is showing as connected in sendfile and of course xtend and even a program called mobiledit and the launcher but when i use the windows transfer it fails usually talking about OBEX or something else. If i use sendfile it errors before it allows me to select a file to send. the mobile monitor is finally showing me as present and i can use the remote control etc.

i tried to uninstall everything but it wouldn't do it all...

i want to scream. help. i am on xp by the way, with sp2. no other pc issues or phone issues (apart from loud camera sound, wobbly video and all the usually stuff i will get over if i can transfer mp3s and images TO my phone... dammit. i might have to go back to my e700 at this rate...!
