I just clicked on the \"next\" link at the bottom of the forum page,and was given the prompt \"download wap.php format not supported,download anyway\".the next time i clicked on it,it worked as normal!what on earth was that about?tia

Ok i may not be correct but this is what i think.
IE supports html so it doesnt bother asking and simply downloads and displays the html page. But when you enter a wap page's url in IE , it asks whether you want to download that page. So the wap format isnt supported by IE.
Maybe your phone didnt interpret the page as a wap page and decided to download it instead; similar to downloading a file.
If at first you don't succeed, destroy all evidence of your attempt !! |

I think you might be right there. Nice thinking. Unfortunately I dont think there is anything that can be done to rectify the problem.
