I think both Reloaded and Revolutions were terrible, Revolutions was a tad bit better though.

just because ur all too thick to understand. its a complicated storyline. dont dis them..

they all broke arms and legs (the actors), and have spent over 6 years with the whole trilogy. so dont dis them. sure, theres talkin, but starwars and the fellowship of the ring match that!

This really annoys me. Don't tell people they don't understand things. The first film ruled, the second 2 sucked. Even the biggest matrix fan boys didn't know what was coming and most fans could think of better storylines. Reloaded asked even more questions revolutions didn't answer them

^Agrees^

@vanquish: I absolutely loved The (first) Matrix, I also loved Lord of The Rings, but Star Wars eps1&2 were terrible, as was the latter 2 Matrix movies IMO. I doubt it's because of the 'talking', but for the fact the Wakowski Bros. never intended to make any kind of sequel to the original, and therefore it seems that the sequels were spawned from the money and success of the original. This, typically (not always) leads to a sub-par film and a disappointment for some of the less hard-core fans

Exactly-sell out. Matrix 2and3 were guaranteed big money makers and they made loads despite 2 getting awful reviews before release and 3 made loads despite 2 being Crap. I also agree that star wars 1 and 2 were poor compared to the originals but they were somewhat entertaining still and had the odd highlights

Sorry to tell you this vanquish, but I agree with this lot. Sure, I loved the APUs from Revoloutions, and the fight scenes from reloaded, but nothing brought up as many philosophical and thought provoking questions as the original.

Speaking of the APUs, I am also a 3d modelling buff. Check out my various pre-colour renders of the one i made. (I left the cinema thinking "That ending looked like a tampon ad!!!", But also that "I gotta make me one of those machines!!!!!". So I did.)

These are all pre-colouring, and are a bit less detailed than the final version. I just couldn't find any pics of the later ones....

So, what do you think?

Pretty much with the last few posts above, its not a lack of understanding vanquish, its a lack of LIKING. The last 2 matrix films can't be based purely on just fights alone, the first isn't for the people that really like it.

SW 1 & 2 were also fairly bad, but had more money behind them to make them just a little less gut wrenchingly bad. (Ok I take it back, phantom menace was HORRIBLE - its like home alone with racers)

It also has nothing to do with the actors who no doubt went through quite alot on the Matrix, they after all only had to read their lines and play their part.

After seeing the last Matrix movie, I'm surprised they didn't rename Neo to Nortons.
