i've heard that Orange are going to be releasing their new firmware for the K700 with the stupid 'camera' option removed and replaced with the original 'more' option on the main screen as with K700's on the other networks. By doing this i also believe that they have disabled the camera button on the side of the phone- well mine doesn't work at least!

Has anyone else heard the same and can anyone confirm this, as it really bugs me that i have to go through a billion sub menu's to do something simple like switch on bluetooth or IrDA, which should take 2 buttons via the 'more' button! (like the rest of you lucky K700 users not with Orange!). This option was available on my T610 on O2 and was very usefull, and whilst the K700 and Orange are both improved from a T610 on O2, there are still one or two niggley little things like this which bug me.

Thanks for your help guys! [addsig]

Well that was really pointless...

"Thank you for your mail, i can confirm that Orange do not have any current plans to release new firmware for your phone.

Orange Technical Support"

They didn't even answer whether the Online Update service will be back up!

Mmm... back to the drawing board.
