Hi everyone. I have SE T610 (firmware R6C005) and Billionton usb Bluetooth dongle. I can use the Obex file transfer without a problem but when I try to use dial-up connection or Bt serial connection it says "error creating connection with device". I've checked the properties of dial-up and serial connections and not seen any available com ports, the dropdown list was empty. I try to manually set the com ports but when I click the "add com port" button in BT settings nothings happens.

By the way I'm using Windows Xp pro with Sp2 and I've renamed the built-in BT driver's file name according to Microsoft's official site to bypass the default Bt software so I can use Billionton's.

Before that I was using this phone with Tecom BT3030 dongle without a problem (Windows Xp pro again but Sp1). All services including Dial-up and Serial connection were working perfect.

Do you have any ideas about my problem?

My phone is paired surely. I can use the Obex file transfer with both pc to phone and phone to pc. My problem is about com ports I guess. There is no com ports in Bluetooth Configuration -> Client Applications. It's better to upload a screenshot.

Any ideas? My pc doesn't seem to find my phone's bluetooth modem. I've checked bluetooth dial-up connection settings and seen that no modems found. Also I've tried unpairing and re-pairing phone with pc, didn't work.

Anyway, I've solved my problem. Uninstalling and re-installing worked. I guess Sp2's built-in bluetooth drivers messed it up but now everythings working normal.
