can sony ericsson tell if you've opened the covers?
and how?

and say if I was to by mistake brake the t68 would they give me a t68i instead because they dont make t68's no more...

i wouldn't go through all that trouble, just get your t68 updated with the latest software.

they can this because the screws are specially painted and looked at under uv lighting to see if the screws have been marked or scratched in anyway

i really dont know mate it wouldnt suprise me though you know how SE treat customers it would be another way of screwing people over

I really don't think they will either. If you say you lost your phone and they haven't got any in stock they might.

My last T68m broke so Voda Retail replaced it for an T68i! I dont think touching only 1 screw will matter as you've not undone them all. In any case I would deny all knowledge! Ed

i have changed my covers a few times to diff colors, white black silver etc. and still dont have any problem i even had on replaced due to a falsh error by the SC and they atill replaced it ....i havent run into any problems .....ofcourse i replace the original cover of my phone when i take it to the sc but i use my mobile tool kit and its fine i have no problems with my phone or SE.
