Anyone managed to get a hold on one of these in the UK yet?

Every store I visit has mentioned that no supplier, including Sony Ericsson themselves, can get them in until sometime in February.

I bought one from CarphoneWareHouse, and it was 100 pounds but have to be brought together with any ericsson bluetooth handphone, the normal retail price is 200 pounds.
However, frankly speaking, I doubt that is is worth for 100 pounds.

OK.
I've just spent all afternoon trawling every cellphone store in Cardiff. (Which was wet and miserable !!)

Not a single store could get one in until, you guessed it, February 'sometime'.

Suppliers were called, stocks were checked, nothing!

Carphone warehouse did say that they had some hbh-20's in stock last week, and will be getting more in on Wednesday, but didn't have any hbh-15's and (wait for it) were never likely to either as their supplier didn't reckon that there was a demand for it. *rofl*

Looks like the only way to get one 'potentially' sooner would be to get one of the web, but who's to say that the web site will be waiting till February as well.

Try Mobiland (site is horrendous but will load, just make several cups of tea) ring them though instead of web ordering, as they will normally 'do a deal' if you order a couple of items. Probably largest stockist in UK

http://www.mobiland.co.uk/

Or Expansys

http://www.expansys.com/

Both next day delivery, and if neither of these have them, nobody will!!

Cheers for that.

I'll call mobiland up tomorrow for stock availability. I'll let the forum know of the progress.

(I agree on the slowness of the site though. Took forever on a cable connection)

Hey, if you have friends in the Philippines HBH-15 is available now, in limited quantities, for about 160 Euro.

I got my HBH15 on Saturday from CPW Manchester Arndale store. They had three left then. They said they had none left in the main warehouse though.
