For your phone to be upgraded, I took mine in on thursday at 2pm to CRC in sandiacre, nr nottingham england. They said it takes about an hour to do but i'd have to leave it with them for 24hrs. So i went back at 3pm friday (after trying to ring them but just got there crappy answering machine telling me i'm in a queue for 10minutes so got fed up) decided to go there and pick it up. Got there there and guess what it wasn't done! They said they will put it in the post and i'll recieve it today in the morning. I hope so, i'm lost and bored (at work) without it.
What about you others? |

Some places don't have the equipment needed, so they need to send the phone off. If you're in the UK, I recommend CarphoneWarehouse, they have the equipment so can do it in 20 mins or so, though they just tell you to come back in a couple of hours or so to make sure it's done.

Well for the CPW they said that they would need it for 4 days. I've still not had my T68 back plus CRC is one of the biggest phone repair companies in uk!
I've even brought a communicam mca-20 and can't even use it yet! I'm really pi**ed off |

Well they phoned me up yesturday to pick it up (at last), so i went to get it. It was 3:50pm when i got it i put my sim card in and made a phone call to test it, then went home (to give my girlfriend a lift home). When i got home i tested a few other things and found that
1. The menu froze on the WAP
2. The menu froze on the Connect
3. Master reset froze
4. MMS menu froze
5. Communicam didn't recongnize
This really pi**ed me off as i've waited four days for it. So i got my girlfriend in the car (honda Crx) and flew back to CRC. (time was running out had to get g/f home, then off to work). Anyway got to CRC and luckly (or unlucky for him) one of the engineers was at reception. I walked in calmly and explained what was wrong. He sent it into be flashed and 24 mins later my phone was back and working perfectly.
Can someone explain why i had to wait so long the first time?
