i've had it happen before, only a few times but it has happened.
also, if you hold down the power button for 10 seconds even when Keylock is on the phone will switch off. |

My phone restarts itself sometimes. I'll take it out of my pocket, and it'll be on the startup screen, waiting for me to enter my PIN.
I couldn't have possibly pressed the No button for a few secs twice whilst the phone is in my pocket.
It's only happened a few times since I got it, but it did happen about 5 mins after walking out of the store after upgrading it to R2E006.
I've master reset it in hopes that will fix it.

This used to happen to me when I had my T68m with hardware version R1B, and also software R1B. It happend mainly whilst using the MP3 player and using WAP, but ocationally at other times.
Now I have a T68m with hardware R4A it works perfect! The LED's are a lot nicer too! A bit more like the T68i ones, not quite but closer than the early T68m's!!
I just sent my phone to SE and the sent me a brand new one so I think it could be a known problem with the early versions of this phone???
What hardware do you have??

Well, it happened to me several times a day (like 5 or 6 times!!!) when I was on R2A013 and still did happen when I upgraded the soft to R2D005.
It was really a bitch! I had to remove the pin request page so I wouldn't miss any calls...
But since I had my phone uprgraded to R2B025 I haven't had a single auto-shutdown (and that was May 29). And the phone was only manually shut down like 4 or 5 times until now!
I am really happy with the T68 now, it's definitely the best phone ever!

BTW, after the update, I did a master reset (which made me loose all the preset MMS and some photos...) |

And I forgot to mention that my hardware version is R1A and that it was shutting down all by itself (no MP3, wap browsing or anything), it was just in my pocket like it still is.
See ya! |

Went out last night, when I got home, my phone was turned off
It hadn't even tried to turn on again, completely off.
And also, yesterday, when downloading logos through WAP, the phone rebooted itself, then again when entering my pin, and then it started working again.
Is this a hardware or software problem? If hardware, I think I should get to fix it, it's getting annoying. |
