Hi I was just wondering if there were any service points in the Manchester area that anyone has used to upgrade their phones?

Was also wondering about price/reliability/time phone lost for etc. as I still havent made any upgrades since 1st getting the phone and i want the MMS upgrade.
Thanks, Ben

The nearest service centre to Manchester is Nova Digicom in Warrington Tel 01925 403 808. Haven't got round to using them but have heard they are OK. Have talked to them on the phone and they seem to know their stuff.

As for service points there's one in Sale (near where I work) called Phoneworld Tel 0161 905 2222. They can't upgrade your phone though as you will need a centre for this but they can send it off. I don't really rate Phoneworld as I've had a few problems with products I've bought from there - there after sales service isn't so good so be warned.

That's true but be carefull of your warranty. In another post someone had trouble with their warranty when upgrading at CPW when he didn't buy the phone from them. SE said warranty was void as the CPW he went to didn't have the official upgade. Turned out there wasn't a problem with the phone after all but all I'm saying is check if you go to CPW.

There probably won't be any problems though.

Dunno? Don't have any dealings with them myself. I'm just mentioning what someone else said in another post. Just thought it may be worth checking.

Didn't get an upgrade but got my T68m reolaced for an i by Voda because I'd had quite a few problems with the m's I had. Am going to use Nova for upgrading the sw on my i. Have heard they are ok so don't have any worries about using them. But maybe CPW would be a good option for the MMS upgrade as it's probably more convenient for you? As I say just ask about your warranyy for peace of mind. Better to be safe than sorry in my opinion.
