I was wondering if anyone could tell me what mmf ringtones were? What's the difference between midi and mmf? |

ive heard of them, my old moto E365 had a function on the phone manager(pc) to convert midis to mmfs and they sounded crap. so its probably a lesser quality ringtone file.
my friend had a LG, cant remember what model, but that only supported mmf ringtones.
what type or phone do you have?

to elaborate on that last post i think thay are poly files that dont support many instruments or something. because i just converted the midi file dumpweed by blink 182 to mmf and instead of hearing all the instruments for the file, it only played 1 or 2 and it sounded really bad
hope that helps

Mmf is a yamaha smaf technology (?). A mmf polytone can include instruments but also voices... Many Samsung's phones have support for mmfs with 40 max. instruments at a time
