hi
im havin a major problem, my nokia 6820, will not allow me to connect to the wap and gprs, i have registered and spoke to people from nokia and my network company (o2 genie) but nothing has happened, when i try to connect to my gprs or wap it says "Creating GPRS Connection" for about 5 mins as this is happening a G appears in the Corner then a box goes around it, then after 5 mins it Comes up with "No Response Try Again"
please help asap!! im going mad!

Welcome here! If u got all your settings via sms, turn off then on your fone and try to get access!

some settings via SMS don't work properly on some phones. Try to check your settings and compare it with someone else's settings who has the same phone/network as you and edit if necessary.

Try Nokia website to acquire the settings through SMS and see if you are lucky.

Welcome here mate . . . same 'name' huh ! I used to encounter that same dilemma with my T68i back then, 'tried configuring the settings automatically via 'air' . . . though went futile! So, I decided to bring my handset to my local network and had it configured 'manually' . . . the attending personnel took out their 7 inch SE manual for configuring the GPRS settings and it took me 'bout 1.5 hours, fortunately they were able to fix ithe problem . . . maybe a problem in a fw.. if you didn't fixit so far you should contact nokia servise and get an update of fw..
i never heard of problem like that with nokia and i have nokia phone's for long time..

Hi jo,and welcome to esato.if you're on o2,send the word "settings" to the shortcode 2020,them reply to the simple instructions.if you still have problems,then It's network congestion(regular with o2),or a phone fault!
