Oh oh! I was really looking forward to the p800, but if what faca tells is true I must rethink what my next phone will be. You know, for me additional software is very important. So maybe I'll have to buy the 7650 even if I like the p800 much more. As I already said 3rd party SW is very important and if it is really true what faca says them there will be tons of applications on the 7650. But I still hope the SDK for the p800 will be free or at least very cheap. 3rd party SW will make or break the p800!!!

A great tip indeed! Since I read this post 3 weeks ago I use my hpm10 much more! Now if I only could switch to the menu while connected via gprs to for example esato! Is there a way without exiting from the current page? This is a big flaw for me that I can't eg surf, write a SMS and then continue surfing without re-establishing the connection to the desired page! Any tips?

Zaji-D: Oh well. I think that you are plain wrong if you choose Nokia 7650 in front of P800. Don't forget that 7650 have 4MB of memory, NON-expandable. What additional software can you possibly find use of that is 4MB?

As I just mentioned, both Sony and Ericsson host some very talented programmers that with time, certainly will release lots of cool software for P800

I just bought a T68i (had a T68m and sold it to my friend) and still cannot get to the menu when playing music. If I press up it shows the volume control... then holding no for 3 seconds goes back to the standby screen. Pressing the joystick then brings up the menu, but the song isn't playing anymore.

What is going on?

Just got my HPM-10 and tried this tip. It works great still playing the Ericsson music file, and I am able to access the phone menu/games etc.

Great tip thanks.

@kevin81: my p800 vs 7650 post was posted accidentally because the reply was still in the cache of my phone! Anyway, I think I will rather buy the p800. You may be right with software coming from SE, BUT you won't see any OS hacks or lots of games from them. The most things they will release will be serious apps. I also think there won't be a lot of freeware coming from SE...

This tip is great!
It works if u got an sw older then R5A... It doesn't work in R5A.
U can hold the joystick down, press no. Now U enter the standbyscreen. BUT the music stops playing. If U hold joystick up, press no. Same thing.

F*CK! It doesn't work with R5C001 either. Sorry for the hard words but I'm really disappointed. I wish I'd never done the update
/floke

EDIT: and not R5D007
