I have the Bluetooth headset already almost 1 year; and I'm using Bluetooth a lot between R520/T39/T68 and laptop. Shoot your questions...
(type=HBH-10, the good-old initial headset)

I-m using the HBH 10,..have done for quite a while,..with the newest software.
Its a quite good headset, taken into consideration, that this was the first bluetooth headset available.
I work as an industriel designer with bluetooth headsets, designing a completely new kind of headset for a company.
It will have a talk-time of 7-8 hours. And very small/lightweight. Cheaper than the other bluetooth's around too
Goes on sale in late Q1. We're now moving into the production-phase.
Sorry, I cant say anymore, at this moment.

I´m using the HBH-20, Very good.
Also I use BT to sync my phone with my PC. Send& Receive SMS while you work without touching the phone.
I´m wainting for the release in the US for the BT accesory for my Sony Clie, that way I´ll be able to sync the phone with the palm too. |

Jan, which software is that? And how can I check mine? I would love to update my HBH-10 since it has some minor bugs (like starting-beep for voicedialling is sometimes too early, or every now and then I have echoes). My HBH10 is from march 2001...

I bought my bluetooth headset this summer.
The new software version is P1A-F now.
According to what the service center said, there shouldnt be many HBH-10's around with the newest software.
So if you have the HBH-10, you can be quite sure, you dont have the newest SW.
Call your service center. They have a code, some sort of service-menu, so you can see what SW your headset have.
I dont remember exactly how its done, sorry.

The headset I've designed, is very high-tech.
And it looks pretty high-tech too
But youre not able to buy it yet. I will tell as soon as its up for sale/ordering.
I havent got the HBH-15,..but I guess you could try for an upgrade, that might solve your problem,..it actually did solve some problems with my HBH-10...e.g. better sound-quality.
Joystick-counts...hmm, I guess a new phone should have some, as its probably been tested before leaving the factory.
But I really dont know

The headset which I have designed for a Danish company, is soon to be released.
And from today, I'm able to say more about it. Some of you have probably already seen the prototype on http://www.expansys.com.
The headset is called BLUESPOON from the company Nextlink.to.
The productionmodel can now be seen on :
http://www.nextlink.to
Extremely small, fits in the ear. Special "ear-lock", for "right ear use".
Battery talk-time : 7-8 hours.
Weight : under 10 gram !
You should be able to preorder it from Expansys.
