Ok, I got my K700 a little while ago and am wanting to get a bluetooth headset. I have two questions:
What's the differences (other than price) between all the headsets... I have seen the:
HBH-60
HBH-65
HBH-300
HBH-600
HBH-660
The HBH-60 seems to be NEWER than the HBH-65 (or at least its $100 more in my local store).
Are the 300 and 600 also old?
I'm a bit comfused, can someone list these in age (newness) and in bestness |

The HBH-60 is older than the 65; the chief difference is the color scheme. Ditto the 600, which is an update of the 65; same battery, size and weight, but exchangeable faceplates. 65 comes with a leather pouch, the 600 does not.
660 is brand new, supposed to have better battery performance (unconfirmed), plus has a callerid on the headset, for those with an eyeball in their ear.
The hbh-300 is in a different class; much bigger, much better battery life, better sound quality and noise cancellation. But did I mention it's big? Still, if performance is everything, it's your only choice. |

I got a HBH-35, works great with my K700i. Guess HBH-35 is cheaper too. |

I've been using the HBH-660 for a week and a half but only on my P910 not on the K700
On the P910 it works great though I have to say that the LCD display isn't as useful as I thought it might be. You don't get any missed calls info, just the name or number of the person currently calling and that gets scrolled sideways as the display is not that long
The sound quality is as good as previous models I have had (HBH-600, HBH-65 etc) but I am wanting to try the HBH-300 myself to compare how much difference the noise cancelling makes

I exchanged my HBH-600 for a new one yesterday, as I suspected the battery might be bad. Charged it for four hours and immediately got 2x the talk time I'd ever achieved with the first one I had--and that was on the first charge, so it should improve after a few charging cycles. After 20 minutes of actual use, I ran an internet radio station through the headset via a bluetooth dongle on my computer and it ran for a further 50 minutes before konking out. The HBH-300 is tempting, but it's just too big for my taste. |
