USB 2.0 strange problem |

I recently bought a new computer with six USB 2.0 ports (two on front) and when putting it together thought that it's always good to have extra ports and installed two extra ports on the back. They all work, but in slow speed, even though I have SP2.
When I connect my MP3 player (high speed, 2.0) I get the message that a high speed device is connected to a port that dosen't support highspeed. Then, marked in fat, it shows me eight ports which it claims are empty...
Strange since I have at least two USB devices plugged in that work.
Any and every help appreciated! Thanks, UE...

Check your Bios setting, it may be set to USB 1.1
I'll be back!

Hmm, problem is, I don't know what the bios is suppose to say. It says that I have eight ports (which is correct) but then there is two other settings I can't remember...
Btw, how do I inactivate plug and play?
