i used another theme (don't remember when i found it i think) as a template for the k700 theme, only changing the backgrounds and some other details, but had to completely start from zero for the s700 (which looks nicer in my opinion!). click on the preview to download.

Well done, Luis!!
Great visibility on the text as well. This is what I am trying to tell the theme makers out there, but they just get upset, telling me to do it better myself.... dumbasses.

Nice work mate, well done.

Could try reducing opacity by a little (25% max I think) on the highlights for a slightly transprent effect, although this looks just as well

hmm yeah i thought i had seen transparent highlights in other themes but didn't know how to do it or thought it was just too messy. it's been the first time i've worked with png's, do you suggest that if i make the main layer of the image a little transparent that will export correctly when saved and imported into the theme? if not, how should i try this?

Let me help you out on this. Check the post and theme above the post here.
Then what SE-Naz wrote as reply. IMHO a theme can ba very nice, pretty, cool, whatever, but if the background for a text is too similar to the text itself, it is unreadable, and the theme useless. The point is to make a theme that looks good, and has good visibility.
I am not a masteron making themes, and I don't think that I am best at this, and I am not trying to insult anyone.

@aauspitz: Look at the previews when making themes, and check it out on your own phone too, before uploading. If you can see contacts, etc. well without straining your eyes, you should be pleased with this part.
