Well i have the MMS upgrade. and the picture phone book. and everything is great but.... and this is a major but I never know if i have missed a call or an sms.

1. The SMS tone is too quiet (wished i could just choose a tone instead)
2. The phone goes to clock and that have to press kay and undo key lock to see if i have a missed call/sms

all i need is a small envelope/telephone somewhere on the clock screen. or the signal led to go red. [i know it is supposed to be low battery, but who cares i charge the phone at least every other night so it never goes flat..]

it would be perfect and i'd never need another nokia......

Are you seriously that lazy to not be able to check your phone periodically by just pressing a button?

I agree that SMS tone is too low and the clock screensaver could use some improvement (We heard it about 500 times already), come on now…

Hmm, I'm almost happy with my Lamborghini, but I might go back to my Saturn because I can fit 4 people in that car instead of 2.

no not lazy but you can look at a nokia screen and get information instantly about a missed call etc.. the t68 you press a button wait for the screen to come up and then another to cancel the keyloack as the keylock message covers the screen so you can't see the icons..

I know it not a long time but Nokia= instant no keypresses and ericsson = two key presses and 2 seconds. it's so simple yet very annoying

U were using a Nokia u got used to it, once u go back to Nokia now u'll be somehow alienated from it; But as long as u think that u'll be leading a better life with less trouble with a Nokia go ahead!!!!!
imagine what u'll be feeling now if SE didn't give us the MMS upgrade!!!!
Yes I can see the look on ur faces people, scaaary thought

I suggest you keeping the T68 until P800 comes along. Then all the competition will be swept away!

I partly agree with Richardt !!
In more than 12 years of mobile usage, I had quite a lot of Ericsson, and a quick look on the phone, with the fast blinking LED, was really great to know if you have a missed call or a SMS.
Then, I had a Siemens S35i (never had any Nokia... ) and it was not so bad too, because a small icon for missed call, SMS or missed appointment was on the screen… but it wasn’t as easy as by Ericsson.
Now, with the T68, I effectively had to press “c” and “no” to see if I’ve missed something… but what I miss the most is definitely the fast blinking LED !!
Fortunately, with the MMS upgrade, when you press “no” the screen-light stay for a while, and it’s less hard than before to see what’s on the screen...!!

With deep regret i have to admit that a 6310i that i use along with the T68i is in many instances a bigger pleasure to use.

Isn't a 6310i a fair bit bigger than a T68?

It is longer indeed, but its browser, speed/ease of operation, and the (superb) battery are better as far as I am concerned. It bookmarks VERY long pages (eg HTML>WML pages via Google) and when you hit the "next" key, it always takes you to the beginning of the next page, not the middle or the end. It only displays 4 lines of text but the scrolling is faster. And the phonebook is more complete allowing the user to include email, address and notes for each of the 500 entries. It supports Java applications; only a few though.
