ZZZzzzzZZZZ
My phone reboots itself very often (about three times a week) while doing nothing. It is very annoying! I'm usually in a hurry, waiting for an important call or mail and getting bored seeing the PIN: prompt...
Is it normal or not?
My phone had R2A, now R3B. Nothing changed.
Many thanks!!!

Try to upgrade the phone. R3B isn't the latest firmware version for R520m. The latest one is R4A008.
The problem could also be the contact-pins for the battery.

I used to have a r520m (miss it a lot actually) that reboots a number of times. Right, have it upgraded to r4a, my t39 and my brother's r520 was cured of the rebooting problem with the latest fw.

I got that problem too after flashing. They gave me a new phone flashed with the same firmware, but problem persisted. Took it to a service point in another country, flashed it again and it was fine.

ESTOR: It's really nice! Maybe I will try it too!
(Why they don't let us to flash our phones? Where are those #$*@ firmware release notes? Nomorestupidquestions.)

Well, if the service points can screw up flashes with such not-that-rare frequency, imagine the problems if end-users are allowed to do it.

tataaam.
I have R4A now. The problem seems to be gone, but the upgrade happened only a week ago, so I will report back later.

I also encounter such problems with my phone especially if u access some WAP sites using a GPRS connection, more often during downloading backgrounds.

Hi!

My reboot problem vanished (permanently) with a cleaning/upgrade.
Finally I found a good service point in Hungary.
Their work is clean, fast, good, and most important, they fill the warranty card correctly.

Thanks for your help and patience.
