Hello everyone.
A girl i know just bought me a new mp3, YAY! its a GENX 256mb mp3 player and flash drive. Trouble is i cant really use it. Ive put all the songs i want on to it but cant turn it on!!! while it was plugged in i was expecting it to charge. i took it off and dont know how to turn it on!!! on 1 side, i have a hold switch (kinda like lock the kp i think) and a +/- switch (maybe volume), on the other a mode thing (the signs indicate next song/previous song) and on top an "A->B" (shuffle/repeat i think) and a upside down triangle! heres the link

service and support are under construction, and think that a response would come here quicker than from contacting this place! anyone have a similar product and know how to help me
many thx in advance! |

On the right hand side of the mp3 slide off the end bit then on the back push it away from you (where the arrow shows you) and it will open the battery compartment insert 1 AAA battery and put it all back together now hold the play button in for about 3 seconds and the mp3 will power on to turn it off hold the play button for about 3 seconds

You can put rechargable batterys in the player but it wont recharge the battery while it is connected to the pc
You will have to use a stand alone battery recharger for the battery to charge
Atleast you have now got it working

You dont need any drivers for it as soon as you plug it into your usb it just comes up as an extra hard drive then just drop your mp3s into it
If you want to delete songs just open the folder and delete the songs

Don't know but would be inclined to assume that you cannot put re-chargable batteries in.
Am also assuming based on the size of the player that it is a 'AAA' type battery. Get yourself a decent high powered alkaline and you should get between 8 and 12 hrs play from it
