What phone do you recommend for my requirements? |

I have used a Nokia 8210 for 3 years now, looking for a change. I won't use Bluetooth, GPRS or WAP, although IR would be nice (for syncing to my PDA). The colour screen on the T68 looks good, and I'm intrigued by the joystick. But the slow sms speed that I keep hearing about is making me apprehensive.
If I do decide on the T68, are there any reasons I should get the T68i? After all, the upgrade is so cheap, but the T68i costs a lot more than the T68. But I really dislike the gold casing and the grey one is out of stock. |

Get a t68 or a samsung T-100
if you upgread a t68m to the r2e software, you'll have faster sms and menus, just a bit slower than nokia is writing sms. also i personally think that the t68m looks much nicer than the t68i.

It's your choice really but I like Siemens, the text input is better than the T68's. Apart from that the T68 is the one to go for, just decide on which one you like the look of better the M or the i, you can upgrade the m's firmware to that of the i's anyway. Just my thoughts |

You will, without much hassle, quickly be able to adapt to the joystick. And I believe that you will, as all the other Esato user, soon develop a liking for that little thing
The grey one out of stock? Just wait then, or go to another store. You can also buy online: http://www.expansys.com

Try Handspring Treo. It's a great PDA phone! |
