Could you tell me whether there is much difference in talk time or standby time between a Ni-MH 3.6V 600mAh battery and a Ni-MH 3.6V 700mAh battery.
Also is there much difference between a NiMH Battery and a Li-lon Battery.
Many thanks

Welcome here! I dont see many diff between nimh and nicd batts according my experiences in the past. Li ion has no mem effect, so no need to disbharge it as at the former old batts.

For further information, the phone is owned by my father and is an old Siemens C25. I have suggested that he may upgrade to a newer model but he likes this one, and now needs a new battery.
Thanks again. |

Theoritically 700 mah should have more talk time and stand by time than 600 , and li-ion is better than ni-mh ,coz no mem effect as boba said and more energy density i think

As i see li ion is the most trustable and stable batt tech, li pol are a nightmare sometimes at usage, need many attention at charging method too.

Ok here's a straght, frank and honest answer;a 700Mah batt, will last 1 sixth longer in standby/talktime,in comparation to the 600Mah batt.lithium batterys are much better than nickel batterys!

@gusfoe - Surely the batt with the 700 mah will last longer . . . Li-Ion batts can be charged anytime, even if the batt cells are not totally used or drained! |
