Ok...i got a K700i...very exciting
Now then i bought a DSS-20, downloaded the driver from the websight and installed the PC Software. It took awhile to figure out the right ports and what not but its finally connected to my PC. Now heres the problem...Using the SE PC software i can transfer Songs/Images to my Phone. Howvere in the "My Phones" folder, the phone comes up as "Not Connected". So because of this i cannot transfer files FROM my phone to my PC, nor can i upload games/applications from my PC to my Phone.
I TRIED the FMA software, but when i start it up i get about 10 Error messages saying "Such and Such not found". I went into the FMA options menu and its already set on the correct COM Port and everything. I tried reinstalling FMA 3x and still all the same error messages and such.
So my phone, while recognized by SOME programs, is not by others....whats the deal? I want to be able to look at files on my phone and be able to transfer them to and from my PC/Phone.
When i had my P800 it connected just fine and i could do this...this phone is startin to piss me off lol

So how are you transferring these to your phone if the suite is not detecting your phone? |

like i said...SOME programs work...others, like the File Manager dont detect it for some reason.
When i open any of the SE PC software it see's my phone (Image Editor, Sound Editor, ect) and i can use them just fine, but when i open up the "My Phones" folder, or open up File Manager and click on the "My Phones" folder, it says "Not Connected".
I want to be able to use the "My Phone" folder so i can extract pictures and what not from my phone and to be able to upload games and aplication onto it...like i said i had no problems with my P800...but this K700i is way different.
Im also guessing all the error messages im getting while launching the FMA are because it cannot detect the phone either....
Like i said...i even tried this on my laptop, which has never had any SE software on it before, and it cant even recognize my phone at all there. It just will keep flashing the Yello check mark forever no matter how many times i take the phone out and put it back in or unplug the USB and put it back in...and yes...i have checked to make sue the ports are marked "Enabled" in both the Phone Sync Settings and under the Device Manager setting...no go
As for the SP2 stuff...i dont even know what that is so im gunna guess i havent...
