the K700 can interpolate the picture to 1.2 megapixels (1280x960) from its real resolution of 640 x 480

k700 does not have megapixel camera. the highest resolution is 640x480 = 307,200 or 0.3 megapixels.
interpolate is the computerised algorithm to generate higher resolution than the actual resolution
