I just bought a K700i yesterday, and with it a USB cable manufactured by MTU (www.mtu.se), or at least it's that brand.
Anyway, I installed the drivers for the cable, then plugged just the cable in. Win XP found it perfectly, no probs there.
I then installed the SE cd with Phone Monitor and File Manager. Worked fine.
The I connected the phone and after a bit of tinkering with the COM ports in Dev Manager, the phone appeared where it should.
Okey, so now I started to browse the phone for a while. Worked fine about a couple of minutes, then all of a sudden:
"Unexpected error. Cannot connect to the device". Not exactly those words, but that was the gist of it.
So I plugged the phone out and then back in. Computer found the phone without a problem, but when I tried browsing the memory on the phone: same crap.

I've tride the latest drivers to the cable and that didn't help.
It just seems so weird that the computer detects the phone as being connected but then complains when I try to browse it. It even made windows exlporer shut down, leaving me with just my desktop image and nothing else on the PC screen. had to use Ctrl-Alt-Del just to restart the computer.

Anybody who can help me?
