Im planning on buying a new phone, and i need some help. I live in norway and i have seen for some months ago that t65 was the phone but last week when i had the cash to buy it it was no wear in town. I can't belive it. But i saw the nice r600 and that looks great.

Then my next question is what kind of phone shuld i buy. I do not need a phone to surf on the web and i do not net a colour screen. But what i do is write a lot of sms. What phone would you buy if you put yourself in my shoes?

LMK asap i need a new phone....
And does anyone have anything good or bad things to say about the r600? In my eyes it seem's like a great phone. But what doyou say?

Of course the T68 is a good alternative, but it might be a little "old" now. There are comming new phones soon, like Ericsson 800, Nokia 7650, 6610 and 7210.

Well. I dunno ;>

Test the R600 if you are happy with the speed of entering text them get it. Not too expensive with enough features.

The T65 has the suckiest keypad on any SE phone. They crammed all of them in that tiny space to give way to the large screen and maintain the pudgy length.

I just hate the T65 keypad.

If you are going to be using it mainly for text messages, then don't buy a t68. Buy other Ericsson products but its hard to point to any single one. Best would be for you to visit a shop and get the feel of the phone in your hand, type a few texts and check the speed etc... and then buy it.

I think if you don't want a colour screen, or wap and all that... then you should get a 3330 or something like that, the sms speed doesn't get much faster than a good ol' Nokia

T68 is of course a much better phone, but if you don't need it, you don't need it...

I love my t68, it's cool. it does almost everything, muahahaaa
but hey, if you're only going to sms people and make and receive calls, i'd suggest you go get yourself a nice nokia or something

don't insult the phone by not fully utilizing it. go get a samsung t100. muahhaha, you can stare at the screen the whole day or something. [addsig]
