Once a mod or maybe laffen himself mentioned, that he needs the post counter for an easier following member activity. What if only laffen and mods could only see it in the future, next to the member name only the 500 nr would be shown. In top 20 only ranking - however i would del that aswell - would be shown, no p. counter aswell. Many threads turn to counter mania, no need for it in the future. Just an idea.

i want to see how much time i'm actually wasting on esato 
I don't care about post count, but getting rid of it is a bit extreme. I like what laffen's doing right now so people won't go post-crazy. It's jsut that sometimes i want to be able to see ALL my posts

Agree here . . . . all posts should be counted! Regardless if it's Celfone/PC/or just plain stupidity - replies, as the poster did some 'thinking' (pro or con) when he/she made that post  ! |

Firstly I believe counters are great for working out the knowledge of some people here. Sad but I slightly look up to people with 500> not because their on here all the time but they might just know what they are talking about.

How 'bout instead of the number of posts (count) made, say, 1 (min) to 500 (max), why can't @laffen just make some sort of a 'ranking' here basing it on, of course the number of posts the members have had accomplished. . . Say, @masseur will get the #1 rank, seconded by @bobafett at #2 , then by Vlammetje at #3 . . . so on and so forth . . .
Though it will be another 'painstakingly' endeavor for Laffen . . . Just a suggestion here - Sir! |

i think it is a bad idea actually. I could care less about how high or low anybody ranks at any given time. What is the relevance of that?
I'd rather be able to see actual amount of posts made, if anyhting.

I'd prefer a grading system (e.g. like on eBay). One symbol for 1-10 posts another for 11-49, then 50-99, etc.
