Use the search here. I'm sure you can find something about it here. Also look for T630 display, keyboard and housing on ebay.

I heard of people talking about it before but never seen anyone do it.I dont think it can be done and even if it can it would be a waste of time.

You need the following.
T630 housing (full, with keypad and all buttons etc)
T630 Keypad PCB
T630 Screen
And T630 firmware which the guy will flash it to for you?
You basically open T610 with a t6 screwdriver and change the housing and move everything from t610 housing to t630 housing.
Then you unclip the keypad pcb and put in the t630 one and then you unclip the t610 screen and change with t630 screen.
You then flash with T630 firmware, if you dont then the new screen will not work.
Ask for more help when needed.
[edit]You can get firmware from http://www.cellular-support.com, there are some good tutorials there too.

How much would it cost to get everything done?

I do noticed here, that many users prefer t610 housing instead of t630, but do like its features. Se should make it possible to let choose a user or newbie what housing she/he wanna use and manage it in se centres.

so if i get say a t630 that has been damged either water damaged or summats and doesnt work. the original screen will work?
thanx guys. also does it have to be a 'special' t630 screen or can it be one off of a normal t630?
thanx once again! |

A water damaged fone wouldnt be the best solution. If its possible rather get a new screen for a good price.

I much prefer the look of the t610 over the t630.the t630 keypad is terrible.glue splodges are visible under every button!keep the cosmetic look of the t610,it's a lot nicer to the eye imo.

I think that we have already discussed this, but anyway, T610 looks better for me, I only would like to have it with T630 screen, but I like it as it is.
BTW, I have actually seen a T610 converted into a T630 and it worked, so it´s actually possible.

Get yourselves a new T630. Much easier! Or even better, a K700!

yup yup.
mates got a t630 thats he is selling for £50. but the problem is that its blocked!.
is there any way to unblock a fone? if i cud get the t630 off him and make it work then that would be good!!
screen costs around £40. so with the new case and pcb for keyboard and p&p it all came to about £60.thats a little too much for me as there wouldnt be any guarantee that it would work!
thanx dudes! |

Dont buy blocked fone to avoid problems. There are ways to heal it, but rather pay more and be sure u made a good deal.
