K700i issue with Bluetooth headset |

I have a Jabra BT200 and I used it very well with my old T610. I just bought a K700i (R2L) and find that the Bluetooth "reception" of the K700i is much much worse compared to the T610. Is this generally true with the K700i? The signal just gets cut off or choppy when there is no line of sight. Even if the distance is very near (less than 2 ft). It doesn't even work well when I place the phone in my pocket.... I have to hold the phone near and ensure that there's a line of sight with the headset! Thinking of sending my K700i for servicing soon.... |

I must confess that I noticed that with my connection too. I have the K700 running R2L and a Jabra BT200 too. The funny thing is it doesn't have the line of sight problem all the time. Sometimes I can be in another room and it works well, other times I can have the phone in my pocket and it's terrible. I did find that switching the phone off then back on sometimes helps!!

Just got my issue sorted out. But feeling worried again after hearing about your case!
I got my unit replaced although it's already a 3 mth old unit. They concluded that my Bluetooth chip is faulty and since they don't replace chips, they replaced mine with a new unit, minus the battery and the batt cover though.... Now it works well... Will let u know if I see the same issue that you're seeing. |

I'm having this issue with my Jabra BT200 and K700i now. Sometimes (quite often) the headset just freezes and I can connect or even re-pair it with my K700i. I have to reset it by plugging it back to the charger so that I can pair it again. Does any of you face this issue?
The "Incoming Call" setting for the headset should be set to "In Handsfree" right? |
