Reports abound in Asia, most recently in Singapore, that the Cabir worm (the worm transmitted via Bluetooth that only affects mobile phones that have both Bluetooth and a Symbian Series 60 OS) is in the wild. As a result, the F-Secure Antivirus Research Team has developed a disinfection tool to remove the Cabir worm from any infected phones.

Visit the F-Secure weblog to access more information and download the tool if your symbian based Bluetooth enabled phone is infected.

Just lifted this from the F-Secure site:

Although the worm does not cause any immediate threat to phone users, it clearly demonstrates the fact that technology to write viruses on mobile devices already exists and is also known to virus writers.

So, nothing much. Yet.

Well it only refers to S60 at the moment, but it could be quite easily adapted to UIQ, or other 'series' phones.
