You can not in the current software version...

People on the forum are complaining a lot about that so hopefully SE will do something about it in new version...

Putting the phone in silent mode is the only way on T610, it should be the same on K700

The noise is there on purpose. Some countries have threatened to make it illegal to make camera phones without shutter noises.

@arrogant - Glad to have you here mate

So what's the final verdict here folks . . . can or can't ? As I take the word of the mod, as he is an experienced one, considering the vast SE fone collections that he have . . . !

Whats the big deal with this noise, everybody on the forum is complaining about this, never bother me the sound in my T610 before and neither the sound of my P900 now, i dont understand why people make this such a big deal, if u want to take a silent picture just put the phone in silent mode and voila! no more sound! U wont miss a call either because u are using the phone and when u finished using it just press "C" again and its done!

If theres something "evil " in the sound that i dont know plz tell me but if it just the "Click" sound. Get Over it!

Its just that sometimes the noise could be really anoing, specially when taking multiple shots, but the solution is as simple as pressing c to silence it, I agree with that

Hello,

just bought a SE V800 and I would like to disable the sound when I take a picture ... silent mode or meeting profile don't work
I think that only a "hacked" firmware will allow that ... because of spying photos ...
