1. You need to pair the PC Bluetooth (BT) with the phone BT. Set your phone BT in Visible mode, and search for it from your PC BT software. Enter the same key on both phone and PC when asked.

2. You need to find which Serial Port (COMx) your PC BT uses for "incoming" connections. If you can't find which is incoming, test both (there are usually two COM-ports in PC BT software after pairing a phone).

3. Open Control Panel in Windows. Open "Phone Monitor Options" and select the "COM Ports" tab. Click the line with the COM-port you identified in (2.) above, and click "Enable". Click OK.

4. Try to use the SW you mentioned in your post. It might take a while for the Phone to be identified.

Did you also remember to turn on BT?

Try to turn the phone off and then on again. Turn on phone BT, and try to search from your PC.

If this does not work, try to search for your PC from your phone, and pair that way.

Did you solve your problem? Your bt must be Visible and you must allow access to all (or listed below) devices.

Have you install the bluetooth software? If you have then all you should have to do is search for the PC using your phone making sure bluetooth is enabled. For my T630 all I did was pair it up with my PC.

Am trying out a bluetooth dongle but file transfer from pc to phone doesn't work. Good thing the store allows me to test the dongle first before buying. We've already tested two models but just won't work when transferring files from the pc to the phone. I can transfer from phone to pc and the desktop remote control also works without a hitch. Been at it for two days but no go. An error message on the PC says "FTP connection failed" or something like that.

I can browse through the files on the PC's file transfer folder using the phone but when I try to download it ("get" on the phone menu), the transfer starts and progress bar on phone indicates it is downloading the file but near the end of the file, the phone pops up an error that the process failed. Tried downloading different file formats (mp3, jpeg) but still no go...

Sure hope somebody can help...
