Can I somehow make the delay, when diverting calls, longer.

I think that when the phone rings it is way to quick before it diverts the call to my answering machine...

I would like it to ring for a longer time before the call is diverted.

It's a T68i

I think it's something you need to phone ur operator about.

My mobile only rang for 10secs b4 going to voice mail... gave vodafone a quick call and they've now set it to 30secs (which is as long as they can do).

Yes it's a way to do it but I really don't understand how SE forgot to put such a function !! like in nokia or other phones.

This is network related, the only thing SE could have done was translating the codes to normal human language in the menu. Most GSM providers however have the good old "Sim application Toolkit" an extra menu that the phone reads from your sim. Search in the "Connect" menu, the 1st line should read the name of your network and probably does the trick in one of it's sub menu's.

Otherwise you can try these as follows:

Fisrt "ask" the network your voicemailboxnumber by pressing

*#61# Yes, note the number that comes on your display.

Then cancel all call forwardings with the code:

##002# YES , wait for the networks reply.

Then you can activate the conditional forwarding

**004*voicemailboxnummer*11*number of secs before voicemail# Yes

Example:
**004*+31612345678*11*20# Yes,

This one gives a call forwarding delay of 20 seconds.

Always enter the voicemailboxnumber in international format and forwarding time is usually limited by 30 seconds.

These codes are part of the international GSM standards, BUT a lot of networks dissable these options and only the network's customer service can fix this for you.

Thanks for your detailed reply, it works fine ! The minimum you can put is 5 seconds.
And I have a tip for everyone interested, save this number in you contacts **004*voicemailboxnummer*11*number of secs before voicemail# Yes
with different time you want so you will not have to dial the number again. Me I put a voice dial with number of seconds I want. It's so cool. I say 5 seconds or 20 seconds and it changes automatically !

Thanks again
