I recently recieved a sort of promotional text/wap link, when i opened it i was offered a FREE ringtone, it turned out to be a site that simply lures you in then tells you theres a fee for the tone. My problem now is that i am now stuck with an envelope with a W in it at the top of my T610 screen and i have tried everything to get rid of it! I don't want to reset my phone, anyone have any clues?

yes there is a way, but I don't know for SE phones. On the sharp there is a special menu about homepage, go to URL, different settings and also an inbox for wap messages. There you can delete the link. Maybe you can try connection to wap and choose for more? (right soft key) then you get a little menu where you can enter the URL and maybe access wap messages.
Everything was ugly, but your beautiful face.

The W sign seems to that of a wap push message. Go to messages> push messages and read it or delete it. The envelope would disappear. Thats not a big problem. No need to reset your phone. Good luck!

Or else enter them via your wap menu, it's the very last option on my phone, 'Inbox Push Messages'

Yeah! You can do it that way too! And there's nothing to worry. It's just a push message.
