I've installed Package 4 for my Ericsson T68. Everything was running smoothly until today. Upon running the Phone Book and Text Message Manager, this error occured:

Runtime error: -2147023067
Description: Automation Error
Source: ecsmca.Phones.Initialize Create PhoneMonitor object.

Please advise. I also tried uninstalling the suite but this error occurs:

Error Number: 0x80070725
Description: Incompatible version of the RPC stub.

Please help. Thank you.

Not that this is any help for you, other than consolation about not being the only one having the exact same problem...

I get the same error notification when trying to uninstall communication suite. I can't uninstall it, reinstall it or run it.
Same goes for sendfile and XTND, but the internet connection
through gprs works fine.
Haven't got a clue why it got to be like this, or how to make it
work again.
I'll try to make some adjustments, if I get it working properly, I'll let you know.
Btw, I'm on Win 98, using a cable and T68MMS with E-son
communication suite for T68i.

1st i'd say upgrade to win2000pro ,98 is prob half of ur prob. About uninstalling, even when doing this it will leave files in the registry. If u know what ur doing u can delete them, if u know which 1's to delete.(i wouldn't mess with it tho) But 98 is old i found i had alot of tings wrong with 98 So i upgraded to 2000 and is much better.
