Benq said it has released its S700 mobile phone which includes a 1.3 megapixel camera and video display quality at 30 frames per second, as well as an MP3 player.
The S700, the firm said, will allow video recording at five different resolutions including 15 FPS at 352x288 and 30 FPS at 176x144 resolution. The machine can also accept a mini SD card.
The camera has a max resolution of 1280 x 960, and also includes special effects such as image rotation, face filter applican and a slide show. It also has an LED flash.
A 32MB mini SD card and mini SD card adaptor are bundled with the phone, and the S700 also supports USB connections.
The phone is already shipping worldwide, said Benq. Other features include IrDA, WAP 2.0, Java MIDP 2.0, tri-band support, 64 polyphonic ringtonydennises, and 1.5-three hours of call time.

The only problem with them filing a lawsuit is the fact that you cant copyright a number.

ex: donald trump is the owner of the phrase "your fired" anyone who decides to use it (marketing wise) has to pay him royalties. |

That's the O2 X3 isn't it? So the fact that it's really the BenQ S700 doesn't really matter in the UK at least.

it looks nice ill give it that but 1.5-3 hours of call time, what is that??? phones should have a lot of call time. around six hours so you know itll make it through the day. |

CounterT610 is right, its why Intel stopped calling chips 386, 486 etc, and came up with Pentium. |

That phone is the o2 x3! it has exactly the same looks and from what i can tell specs. I would avoid the BenQ phone from customer experiences, they are not great. sure the x2 was a huge improvement over the x1 (made by maxon) but its not without its faults! (a huge list of them) Plus the o2 x3 does not have a high resolution colour screen and from what i've heard mp3 file transfer has been a bit of a pain the the back side. This phone is my opinion is a big NO |
