I used to be able to view a 25 minute video without the backlight switching off, but with R2L the backlight switches off after about 10 minutes and there is NO way to get it back on (pressing the right soft-key makes it switch back on for a moment or two, but when it switches off again it does not come back on).

As there is no way to fast-forward or pause the video (huge issue - if a call comes in when you are 20 minutes into a 25 minute video you have to watch the first 20 minutes over again...), you end up watching it over again each time you get interrupted.

Anyone have a trick to get rid of this - or do we need to wait for a fix in the next firmware release?

@SE: Please add a PAUSE/Rewind/FastForward to the video playback mode...

I think you can't do that with 3gp movies even on computer! But you should go to settings-display-light, and set light to on, and it shouldn't swich off while waching movies.

@ djordje1yu:

Forgot about that. Thanks for the reminder!

PS: When viewing .3gp's on a PC through Quiktime it is possible to pause/fast-forward, etc.

I just set the display light to on as I was experiencing the same problem with the light fading halfway through a movie; it is annoying!

Im afraid to say that it doesn't stay on and it fact it fades just on 15 seconds.

Another thing that bugs me is that when replying to a text you can't select 'reply and delete' like you could with the T610. It now means I have to go through my inbox to manually delete things.......Any thoughts?
