some people report problems after unlocking via codes because its a 3g network. If the phone comes in contact with a 3g signal then it tries to switch to it, which may result in loss of reception of your 2G network.
is this a problem with your 7600?

nop my 7600 is unlocked by the kind people at www.a site.com/fourms and it works and hasent lost a signal with me
tried in voda phone o2 orange and virgin(t-mobile)
