1) There is a one second delay before the person at the other end of the phone can hear you when answering a call. Very annoying!

2) Phone lock automation is not working! Automatic is the same as On!

3) Phone is NOT always closing the GPRS connection after checking email! I have setup the phone to check for new email every 30 mins.
Worked ok the first few days, but now the GPRS connection is always on!

4) When receiving contact info from another phone, the phone still displays the number and not the name when the contact is calling.
I have to edit the contact info, before it works.

Anyone else have the same problems with their K700 R2L ?

After writing an sms, you go to the select recipients page to add contacts to send the sms to. If you recieve a call at this moment, the phone returns you to the main menu at the end of the call. The message is not sent or saved in drafts. Doh!

Point 2 is the same on the S700. I have my phone set to automatic lock but it asks for the code everytime I turn the phone on.

i don't know if this is a bug, but i never experienced it on my K700i when it was still on R2E. It is when i unlocked the phone from automatic or manual keypad lock, a white blank screen flashes before being unlocked. Any Ideas?

About the point 2 problem. I think that you are getting the key-lock mixed up with the phone lock. Then you are asked for a pin everytime you start the phone, after you have entered the pin for your sim card.

About the automatic bit, it waits about 20 seconds before locking the keys. Cant you wait that long???

Has this been SE's 'worst' release fone model to date mates? After been almost a year here at esato, this fone model - SE K700/i is the only one getting all the media hype I guess ! Even when already upgraded (firmware) - still, more discontented 'upgraders' comes out in the open to air their new problemos . . . what gives?

I understood it as the phone lock not the sim lock. I have both activated (phone lock is set to automatic so should only ask for the code when I change the sim card) and whenever I turn the phone on (without changing the sim) it asks for the pin number. All of my previous phones have only asked when I change the sim card.

Kepad lock hasnt been mentioned. It works ok on my S700.

The one second delay should have been fixed by the fw update to r2l so I suggest you go back to your nearest servicepoint and have it flashed again or you can try the onlne update if you have the right tools.
