if you have icons in the upper left of O2 would that mean that your phone is o2 branded?

If i can ugrade my firmware to R2L what should i do instead?

If your startup/shutdown logos are o2, and the upper left icon(s) of the main menu are o2, then your phone is o2 branded.

You can do one of the following:

1.) Wait for o2 to support the update service (I seriously doubt this will happen anytime soon).

2.) Send the phone off to an authorized SE service point to be flashed (this will have to be done each time a new firmware is released, until o2 supports the update service).

3.) Buy two logs and flash the phone yourself with a T28 service cable and Total MultiServer.
