FMA wont recognise my K700 with BT |

I've just bought a BT dongle after hearing how much faster the speed is than Ir. I have used Floats Mobile Agent with Ir fine, but it wont connect using bluetooth.
The software that came with the dongle "Blue Manager 3.1" works fine going both ways. it connects, downloads and uploads to the phone with no trouble. But i want to use FMA because of all the obvious extras such as the battery meter and texts access.
I have looked at 'properties' of my K700 in "blue manager" to get the address, then put the address into the 'options' menu under bluetooth address, where you choose your connection in FMA. Then i click connect. Nothing happens. I have opened the activity log on FMA and it says "18:48:43:716 Establishing new connection via Bluetooth.
18:48:43:716 Accessing device (may take a while)...". Nothing happens- for much longer than "a while" -20mins and still counting!

Did u activate your serial port?, go to my bluetooth places, then click on ur fone, ull c a serial port icon, right click on that, c which serial is configuered, then click on, now double click on it, if the icon becomes green, and ur fone is connected with ur pc, go to FMA, tool > options > General, click on serial port, choose the serial port ur phone is connected on, and ur porblem should b fixed
