Hi,

I am using T230 with DRS-11 serial cable, I was wondering what is the ideal settings for the COM port using this cable, I get best results leaving the COM port at default setting of 9600bauds, 8 data bits, parity none, stop bits 1 and error control to off, the speed setting has no bearing whatsoever on my PC, it always shows connected at 115.2kbps on the taskbar icon regardless of the baud setting on the COM port. Enabling error correction seems to slow down the connection for some reason. I am using the older T200 modem driver as there are no newer drivers for the T230, strangely SONY support keeps on harping that T230 cant be used as a modem and the very fact that I am writing whilst connected with my T230 using Airtel GPRS is a total contradiction of their position.
