your phone is normal. pre-defined items really cannot be erased in exemption to t68 and other models. but you may try the master reset trick usually done to t310 to get rid of those crappy pre-defined items. but i dont recommend you to do that.

i find it quite satisfactory. before, i was using a T68i, and it was sufficient... i got a T610 and i love it! of course it could be better like a K700i pero la pa ko budget for that eh... saka na lang. as of the moment, the T610 suits me quite nicely!

id suggest it anyday to anyone.

second hand unit din yung sa akin pero ok pa nung makuha ko. glitches, wala naman so far... pero T-mobile unit kasi sa akin eh, i expect non-t-mobile units to have more flexibility

Does SESS unlock a phone locked to a provider either smart or globe (or even remove branding from int'l units)?

i don't think SESS does those things. you can delete pre defined items (from what i've read before) 2 ways, 13 sec trick, haven't done or tried this one. or the trick where you fill your phone memory, this one i've tried before and worked perfectly. deleted all crappy pre defined items.

About this 'T-Mobile' thing . . . is it true that there are times (when you acquire a fone which has a T-Mobile branding on it) that you'll find it difficult to send MMS? They say that the local network is having problems configuring the fone on with their system . . . If so, what gives then?

t610 is so slow. also t630, there are times you'd think that the phone hangs, when its not, it's just so freakin slow. the memory is small.

but if these things dont bother you, then go for a t610, anyway, it looks good, and was awarded as best GSM phone sometime last two years, (if my memory serves me right).

@ phantom

download/store several pictures or midis or games or combination until your phone tells you "memory is full, delete one or more files" ... this is what baste07 tries to tell you.

another trick is that you "master reset" your phone, wait for couple of seconds, around 11-13 seconds then remove the battery so that your phone offs while the loading of pre defined items has not been finished or hasn't even started. this is a trick originally done to a t3XX series, and works fine. but i dont recommend this trick, if you wish to do it, then back up your files and settings.

thanks ex_crusader. gonna try the memory trick. i don't want to give the 13 sec trick some time because my data will get lost and i don't have time to back up my files. thanks again
