i was just wondering, when it comes to upgrading, how do networks like voda, t-mobile know how much discount to give you?

I know they look at your bill, but do they add ALL the bills from that year e.g £1500, then divided it my a set number like 10.

Because some months my bill will be around £350 and others only £150.

thanks

I think its more to do with your track record at paying bills, and how long you have been a customer, loyalty definately pays dividends, you get entire bills chalked off, and sim-free unlocked phones from vodafone, after a while (i've been with them 4 years and had a £350 bill written off as a loyalty bonus!!).

Other networks offer different incentives.

it to doo with a whole lot of things!

how much you spend, how punctual you are, how long you been with the company, how long you had your current phone, what you wanna upgrade to, what talkplan your on, how much you go over it!

etc!
