what would happen if:
If i paid £10 for the first month and got 300 free text
For the second month not use the sim card at all. (not put any money in)
Third month pay in £10.. would i still get the 300 free texts?

If you dont topup after a month then you will get the 300 free texts the day after you do top up.

Just gone onto O2 for first time with my P910i, previously on Orange with wife on PAYG Orange. She can use this instead of the Orange SIM. |

ordered them of course but will someone explain why o2 give these away when people are paying £15+ for them...is it simply to get the £10 a month for sure?

Bacically to get a lot of customers because they get more people paying £10 each month so thats a hell lotta money 
These people are mainly joining because of the sims being free or cheap and for the free texts and wap mins/gprs

O2 online is actually a different company to O2. Basically they don't have shops, so they don't have to pay for the leases etc on them. Instead, they pay for the use of O2's aerial towers etc. They do have loose affiliation with O2 (hence the name) but that's where it ends. DON'T go and expect an O2 store to have free sim cards, or the same offers. But these cards DO arrive, i received 5 a while ago. But my brother didn't receive his 5, so i spose there is a luck factor involved
