he said no sims work in it so it needs unblocking, but it is brand new apparently |

i wouldnt say much then, cos who ever buys it will have to pay to get it unlocked...
must be stolen or summit then? maybe the bit you put the sim in is broken?

well seeing as phones locked to networks are goin for roughly £200 on ebay... id say just a bit less than that £170ish?

if no sims work its been blocked by a service provider, probably T-Mobile as O2 & Voda dont tend to block handsets or didnt used to anyhow, i know recently they got forced into taking some action by the regulators.
it was either lost or stolen...not saying your friend stole it but as the finder it's of no use unless he contacts SE and pleads his case...if he brings it to Carphone Warehouse they can possibly tell who it belonged to.
otherwise it's of no use to anyone apart from a shop who would contact SE and say the same thing your friend can say to get it unblocked...which is "i found the phone, please unblock it". |
