I another thread everybody was waiting for SE to announce new products on this event.
But nothing new appeared. There were P910's, S700's but there was something new for the Eastern Asia market:
Pic and text from pocketpcthoughts.com :
Figure 28: Ultra small Sony East Asia cell phone
As always, Sony had an amazing cell phone that's not available in North America. Here's an ultra-tiny cell phone that is to be released in East Asia (Suhit recollects that the rep said Korea, but Janak's convinced it was to be released in Japan). Let's hope we see it in the US -- it was truly a featherweight device. The phone is less than half the size of Suhit's Ericsson T68.

It has already been said at the top of this thread that there has been a new phone announced!
The event happened a week ago.

I want that Premini.
It is the only true sucessor to my faithfull T600.
But I do not want it that bad that I would relocate to Japan for it. |

Japan uses a different system and frequencies so it can only be done if you know a lot about electronics. |

The design is special, different, can not be compared to any other phone, looks as if well thought-trough (the keys at the side! The 230-like four way joystick-like button in the middle! The chrome!) and very, very small and lightweight. Small screen is ok. The kind of product you expect from SE.
But not for us. Sigh. We have to put op with the huge bricks and clamshell-books.
Fuzzing with the electronics is out of reach for me. Also I am afraid the video drivers etc will all be japanese.
